The Courthouse Shopping Center is located in the popular suburb of Eagan, Minnesota, nestled between the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers. Eagan is a major suburb of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area, boasting a population of over 70,000 people, and is accessible and well-positioned, as it is bordered by the MSA’s major north-south interstate, I-35E, as well as east-west interstate, I-494; both major thoroughfares in the Twin Cities. It is also neighbor to the Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport, as the closest proximal suburb to the east.

A large area of Eagan’s northeast quadrant, nearby the shopping center, is a dedicated hub to business and industry. It is home to many corporate campuses as well as warehouse and distribution centers, including Thomas Reuters, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, among others, as well as the Minnesota Vikings headquarters and training facility, occupying a 277,000 square foot campus, and an outdoor field that seats 6,500 fans. Much of the area surrounding the Courthouse Shopping Center is home to a support system for the Vikings campus, including a hotel, Viking museum, youth sports training and an orthopedic surgery center. All of these factors strongly support the high daytime population of the area directly near the property, as well as the retail business in and around the area.
